The winners of the Ramazan Quiz 1438 organised by Jamiyyath Salaf was announced on 5th September 2017. The quiz comprised of 29 questions pertaining to different aspects of the Islamic faith. For each day of Ramazan, a question was posted on Jamiyyath Salaf’s Facebook Page and one lucky winner was picked daily. The daily lucky winners received a 1000 Rufiya voucher from Banoon, a local shop in Male’.
The grand prizes for the quiz were MVR 3000/- for the first place, MVR 2000/- for the second place and MVR 1000/- for the third place. The first place was won by Fathimath Hussain / Mathivagge Lhaviyani Naifau, the second place was won by Nazeeha Yusuf /Fanaaru, Lhaviyani Naifaru while the third place was secured by Hassan Hussain Akiri / Lhaviyani Naifaru. It is worth mentioning that the winners had answered all the 29 questions correctly and accurately.
A total of 5 participants had answered all the questions correctly and 9 participants got 28 questions correct out of 29. A total of 11 participants answered 27 questions correctly and it was found that on average the questions were answered by 200 to 300 people per day.
